So, a bit about me. I studied Abnormal Psychology and English Lit at Young Harris College and Valdosta State University. I was born in the mountains of North Georgia and spent a lot of time in St. Teresa, Florida. I love the beach, but the mountains hold my heart.
I still live in Georgia with my husband, Nerdboy, and my three kiddos, whose names are not Shadrach, Meshack, and Abendigo because Nerdboy didn't think it was funny. You might think we named them after a dragon, a highlander, and a princess, but you would only be correct about the dragon. We have a rescue pup morkie we call OMG PLEASE STOP BARKING even though her name is Bella. Bella came with her name. I'm not sure why I felt this was important information, but now you know, so you can't say I didn't tell you. It's in print. I have proof.
I am a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic and stroke survivor, a lot of what I write has some connection to at least one of those things. Both my diabetes and my stroke, which resulted in some memory impairment, were caused by a pancreatectomy and splenectomy I had a few years ago.
Short of my family and friends, the most important thing in the world to me is my coffee. I like it hot, and I like it as often as possible. I am firmly committed to my caffeine addiction, and my doctor accepts my decision to continue down the path of remaining as caffeinated as possible. I also enjoy making my own covers, as well as story covers for 13StoriesTilHalloween, playing cards, playing the piano, making my own book trailers, and playing video games like World of Warcraft, Guild Wars2, and The Cat Game, but my doctor doesn't really have much to say about those things.
